Crawley Town's impressive build-up to their debut season in League Two continued as they held Crystal Palace to a goalless draw at Broadfield Stadium.
Reds were unable to add to the 17 goals they had scored in their three previous pre-season friendlies but more than held their own against the Championship outfit.
The closest Crawley came to scoring a free kick from Hope Akpan which deflected just wide of the post with Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni wrong-footed.
Akpan also blazed a free kick over the bar while Ben Smith shot wide from the edge of the area following the best move of the game.
The visitors fielded a strong side which included former Albion striker Glenn Murray as a half-time substitute. Murray came closest to breaking the deadlock when his curling shot rattled the crossbar.
