Eastbourne will have to settle for Elite League silver medals after suffering Grand Final disappointment tonight.
Eagles went down 57-36 in the second leg at a packed Wimborne Road to lose by 13 on aggregate.
The Sussex track got off to a shocking start with last places in the first five races, including Bjarne Pedersen on a tactical ride.
They levelled the aggregate scores when Joonas Kylmakorpi led a 4-2 in heat six but Poole forged ahead again two races later.
Cameron Woodward gave Eagles late hope with a gutsy double-points win ahead of Davey Watt in heat 12.
But the tie was decided with one race to spare as Poole finished with two 5-1s and a 4-2.
Poole: Ward 14+1 (5), Holder 11+2 (5), Watt 6+2 (4), Wells 5+1 (3), Andersson 5+1 (4), Wolbert 5+1 (5), Anderson 5+1 (4).
Eagles: Woodward 14^ (7), Gustafsson 8 (6), Kylmakorpi 5 (4), Bridger 4+1 (4), Pedersen 4^ (4), Lahti 1 (4), Dryml r/r.
