Trialist Darren Carter marked his debut for Albion's reserves with the opening goal in a convincing 2-0 victory at Bournemouth this afternoon.

The former Preston midfielder finished neatly from close range in the 27th minute after Jamie Smith combined with George Barker.

Ryan Simmonds doubled Albion's advantage in the 61st minute from a short pass by Barker which defeated Bournemouth's offside trap.

Nir Mansur, a 20-year-old Israeli from Real Madrid juniors, came on at left-back in the closing stages.
