Sam Vokes has been handed a first Albion start – against one of his former clubs.

The on-loan striker starts in attack at Leeds today as the Seagulls make four changes from the side which beat Leicester a week ago.

Vokes, who had a brief loan stint at Elland Road in 2009, comes in for Craig Mackail-Smith while Kazenga LuaLua gets the nod for the banned Matt Sparrow.

There is another enforced change in defence, where the unwell Lewis Dunk is replaced by Joe Mattock.

Left-back Mattock gets his first start on loan from West Brom and Adam El-Abd reverts to his preferred centre-back role.

The other change of personnel is at right-back, where Gonzalo Jara Reyes is in for Inigo Calderon.

Craig Noone is among the subs after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Leeds caretaker boss Neil Redfearn takes charge at Elland Road for the first time after enjoying a 3-0 success at nine-man Bristol City last week.

He sticks with the line-up which eventually impressed at Ashton Gate which means winger Andros Townsend, a recent loan signing from Tottenham, remains on the bench.
