Solly March fired a hat-trick as Albion Youth won 3-1 at Stevenage today.
The Seagulls were 2-0 up after producing a superb first-half performance playing into a strong wind.
March sidefooted home George Cousins' cross after a good move, then struck from the edge of the box with the aid of a deflection.
The Seagulls were less impressive after the break but March, who signed from Lewes in November, completed his treble on 75 minutes with a wind-assisted left-foot effort.
Stevenage replied late on from a corner which Albion felt they should have defended more convincingly.
March's treble capped a fine week which also saw him called into the development squad for their friendly at Southampton.
Coach Vic Bragg said: "Solly has settled well with us.
"There are still one or two bits and pieces he has got to learn but he is doing all right."
