Boss Richie Barker slammed his side's defending as Crawley crashed to a 5-2 defeat at home against Tranmere Rovers.
Reds had led 2-1 thanks to goals from Josh Simpson and Kyle McFadzean but Tranmere equalised just before half-time.
Mistakes from David Hunt and Mark Connolly gifted goals to Jake Cassidy and Jean-Louis Akpa Apro before Andy Robinson completed the rout near the end.
Barker said: "There were plenty of positives but unfortunately the negative far outweighed them. We created more chances than any other team has against them this season and I bet Ronnie Moore (Tranmere boss) can't believe his luck we have given them five goals.
"It wasn't acceptable. I won't accept it and the players shouldn't accept it. I think some of the players have learned that if you make a mistake at this level you get punished."
