Albion winger Kazenga LuaLua is joining Championship rivals QPR on loan for the rest of the season.

The move is expected to be confirmed by both clubs later this afternoon, subject to a medical and paperwork formalities.

LuaLua has slipped down the pecking order at the Amex to fifth choice for a wide spot.

There is no immediate prospect of the 26-year-old forcing his way back into Chris Hughton's plans, especially now Solly March has returned to the frame from a year out injured.

LuaLua wanted a loan move in the summer transfer window. His prospects of first team football have deteriorated further since then due to the increased competition for places, injury and suspension troubles.

He has not featured since the defeat at former club Newcastle at the end of August and has been banned from the last four matches for his behaviour towards the officials following a red card at AFC Wimbledon in the last round of the Checkatrade Trophy.
