Albion central defender Lewis Dunk has been overlooked by England boss Gareth Southgate.
But Swansea striker Tammy Abraham - who Dunk will be up against on Saturday - has been promoted from the under-21s for the showpiece friendlies at Wembley against Germany on November 10 and Brazil on November 14.
Brighton-born Dunk, 25, (above) has been touted as a candidate for international honours.
Abraham, 20, wanted by Albion in the summer before joining Swansea on loan from Chelsea for the season, has already scored four goals for the struggling Welshmen in the Premier League.
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez, another summer loan target for the Seagulls, has also been promoted from the under-21s to the senior squad by Southgate along with Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is on loan at Crystal Palace.
