Albion will tackle Crystal Palace on a Monday night – with a video referee in place to judge controversial on-field incidents.
The third round FA Cup tie has been arranged for Monday, January 8 (7.45pm) and will be shown live on BT Sport.
It will be the first competitive match in England in which video replays will be used to assess refereeing decisions.
The evening kick-off is likely to be unpopular with many after trouble at the recent Tuesday night clash between the rival clubs.
