Rafa Benítez has praised the leadership of Albion skipper Bruno after his side were nullified at home.
Benitez felt his Spanish compatriot was a key man as the Seagulls kept their heads in a 0-0 draw at St James’ Park.
The Newcastle boss said: “They are well-organised. Our decision-making has to be better in the final third.
"I could see Bruno all the time telling them calm down, calm down. Slow the tempo. That's experience.
“They know what they are doing. In the second half we were pushing, we were trying.”
