Boss Chris Hughton fears Albion could be facing Arsenal at the worst time.
The Gunners arrive at the Amex on Sunday after successive 3-0 defeats against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final and Premier League.
That, Hughton warns, is likely to provoke a response from Arsene Wenger's under-fire side.
He said: "Most managers would probably say exactly the same. When you are playing against a team of the stature of Arsenal that are on the back of back-to-back defeats it doesn't happen very often.
"What they will want is a reaction. We have got to make sure we look after our own business, play to the levels that we have been playing at. But I think most would say it's arguably the worst time to play them, because they will want a reaction."
Albion have no fresh injury worries. Back-up winger Jiri Skalak has returned to training after the ankle injury he suffered in the fourth round FA Cup win at Middlesbrough, leaving long-term victim Steve Sidwell (ankle) as the only casualty.
