Kevin Pietersen today continued his attack on Sussex wicketkeeper Matt Prior claiming “England are finished with him”.
Pietersen, who is promoting is autobiography 'KP’, has accused former England team-mate Prior of being a “negative influence” in the dressing room.
Speaking on 5 live Daily today, the former England cricketer said Prior was “an embarrassment to the dressing room” when he was dropped during the last Ashes series.
He said: "It's the double-standards. I was the one who was made out to be this big brash person. Then I looked at the double-standards of the way he conducted himself in the dressing room and talked to Andy Flower about things.
"Things were getting worse and when he got dropped he was an embarrassment in the dressing room in Australia. I don't think I can have been that wrong because he doesn't have a central contract any more. England are finished with him."
