Sussex restricted Glamorgan to 218-5 from 50 overs in today's friendly at chilly Hove.
England under-19 batsman Ben Wright held Glamorgan's innings together with an unbeaten 93, made off 131 balls with five fours and two sixes.
Mike Yardy, captaining the side in the absence of Chris Adams, employed seven bowlers including three spinners on the same slow pitch which was used for Monday's game.
Pick of them was Carl Hopkinson who took 2-15 from six overs with his seam-up.
Yardy, Kirtley and Saqlain Mushtaq, who bowled six overs, were the other wicket-takers.
Robin Martin-Jenkins bowled seven overs in his first appearance of the season, having recovered from a hand injury he suffered on the pre-season tour of Dubai.
Having lost the first match yesterday by five wickets, Sussex are looking for revenge today before taking on Northamptonshire, also at Hove, over the next two days.
