Sussex star Jofra Archer is feeling a million dollars – after earning a call to the Indian Premier League.
Archer will play for the Rajasthan Royals, where his team-mates will include Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and Aussie skipper Steve Smith.
The 22-year-old Sussex star has been a huge hit with Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash and, to cap a great day, learnt he will be heading into the final four.
He was picked up by Royals for 1.1 million dollars or £800,000.
Following the auction, Archer tweeted: "Wow, can't put this feeling into words."
Archer’s call-up will delay his start to the English domestic season, in which Sussex hope to see big things from him with both red and white ball.
