England skipper Eoin Morgan has hailed "incredible" Jofra Archer after a famous Lord's triumph.
Archer conceded 15 runs in a super over which decided the World Cup final against New Zealand.
He kept his nerve after his first two balls went for nine and it was just enough to secure England's first world crown.
Asked why the Sussex star was chosen to deliver the super over after the teams tied, Morgan said: “It was an easy decision.
"He's our best yorker bowler and one of the best yorker bowlers in the world.
“We just asked him to do what he has been doing since he became a professional cricketer “He’s a guy with the world at his feet.
“He’s a very good red-ball bowler.
“He has been incredible for us throughout the World Cup.
“There is a lot ahead for Jofra Archer.”
