Sussex all-rounder Luke Wright was today named in England's 14 man squad for next month's one-day series against New Zealand.

But there is no place for team-mate Matt Prior, who had been widely tipped to win back his place.

Instead, England have named former Sussex player Tim Ambrose as their only specialist wicketkeeper.

England play the Kiwis in two Twenty20 internationals, the first of which is in a fortnight, before five one-dayers which means Wright will miss Sussex's Twenty20 Cup campaign as a result of his call-up.
