Matt Prior was left out of the Twenty20 World Cup squad
Matt Prior has revealed how hungry he is to earn back his England place.
The wicketkeeper-batsman is back in action for Sussex after being omitted from the England squad competing in the Twenty20 World Cup in the West Indies.
In a frank interview with The Argus, Prior said: “Any time England walk on to the field without me it hurts.
“I’m not accepting it. I can’t argue with my stats but when I opened for England in ODIs before I was a very different player to now, I have learnt a huge amount.”
