Sussex skipper Murray Goodwin has been given an ECB rap for excessive appealing.
The 37-year-old, who is leading the county while Mike Yardy takes part in the Twenty20 World Cup, was carpeted after being reported by umpires George Sharp and Graham Lloyd during Sussex's ten-wicket win over Leicestershire in the County Championship at Hove last week.
The penalty will remain on his record for two years and any further Level One breach during that time will result in an automatic imposition of three penalty points.
Goodwin scored 142 and led Sussex to their fourth successive Championship win in the match.
