Luke Wright has been passed fit to play for Sussex Sharks against Kent Spitfires in the CB40 today.
Wright had been sidelined since aggravating a knee injury ten days ago and is due to see a specialist tomorrow.
The England all-arounder is expected to have an injection which will keep him out for two weeks but is considered fit enough to play a full role in this match.
That means he comes into the side in place of Ollie Rayner as the only change from the side which beat Derbyshire to go top of the table last Sunday.
Former New Zealand international Lou Vincent makes his second appearance of the season while Andrew Hodd keeps wicket with Matt Prior linking up with the England squad ahead of the first Test against Sri Lanka.
Kent have won the toss and have elected to field first.
