Luke Wright top scored as England won their final warm-up match before launching the defence of their World Twenty20 title.
The Sussex all-rounder hit 38 from 36 balls coming in at No.3 as England were bowled out for 111 with three balls of their innings remaining in Colombo.
Wright was the only batsman from either side to score more than 20 on a difficult wicket and has now surely cemented his place in the side for the World T20 opener against Afghanistan on Friday.
Pakistan were restricted to 96-9 in reply with Danny Briggs and Jade Dernbach leading the way with the ball as they took 3-15 and 3-14 respectively.
