Adam Hinshelwood has resigned as manager of Worthing.
The Rebels boss steps down after a year and a half at the helm and the Woodside Road club reports he will take up a full-time coaching role at his former club Albion.
Jon Meeney and Gary Elphick have been appointed as joint managers.
A statement from Worthing said: “The board of Worthing Football Club today announced the resignation of Adam Hinshelwood as first team manager.
“Although the club are saddened by his departure, they are also delighted he has secured a full-time coaching role with Brighton & Hove Albion.
“Adam deserves this opportunity to return to full-time employment within the professional game, following his premature retirement due to injury. The club cannot thank him enough for steering them through difficult times last season and wish him every success going forward.”
