Eastbourne Borough's match at Chester City today was abandoned after 72 minutes following two pitch invasions.
Around 20 fans had entered the field of play in the first half to protest against club chairman Steven Vaughan.
Police and stewards were able to clear the pitch for the game to resume but a handful of supporters made a second invasion with 18 minutes to go and police advised referee Paul Curry to abandon the game as they couldn't guarantee the safety of the players or supporters.
Chester had led 3-2 at the time with goals from Anthony Barry, Lloyd Ellams and Nick Chadwick while Borough had twice fought back from behind through Liam Enver-Marum and Kayne McLaggon.
