Joe Benjamin has returned to Northampton
Eastbourne Borough have been dealt a blow by the news striker Joe Benjamin has been recalled by Northampton Town.
Benjamin had impressed during his month at Priory Lane and boss Garry Wilson was keen to extend the 19-year-old's loan spell.
Northampton boss Ian Sampson was keen to have him back at the Sixfields Stadium for the busy Christmas period though after his squad was hit by injuries.
Kayne McLaggon's loan spell from Southampton is also due to end this week and Wilson is yet to decide whether to try to extend his stay.
