Lewes moved out of the Blue Square south relegation zone with a thumping 5-0 win at home to Dorchester.

The Rooks moved above Worcester with two games to go after recording their biggest win of the season.

Worcester, who lost 1-0 at Chelmsford, have 37 points and one game to play, while Lewes are now up to 39 with two to go.

They play Bath at home on Tuesday and Hampton and Richmond away next Saturday. Two points from those two games will be enough to keep them up.

Joe Keehan opened the scoring after just eight minutes with a penalty after James Fraser was brought down by Scott Price when bursting into the area.

The Rooks were dominant in the first half, creating a string of chances but they had to wait to stoppage time before doubling the lead.

Rob Gradwell, who played with a heavy strapping on his broken wrist, whipped over a cross from the right which Keehan met with a glancing header into the far corner.

Lewes went for the jugular at the start of the second period and were handsomely rewarded.

Sami El-Abd had a header wiped out for foul on goalkeeper Regan Coward within two minutes of the restart but a third goal was soon coming.

It started with an exhilarating run from David Wheeler and finished with Gradwell scoring at the third attempt.

Three became four two minutes later when Chris Breach headed home Jack Walder's corner.

There was still time for one more in the closing stages as Fraser lifted the ball forward for substitute Jean-Michel Sigere to chase and he lobbed the goalkeeper as he came out for his third goal of the season.
