New loan signing Aswad Thomas went straight in for his debut as Lewes entertained Oxford United at the Dripping Pan.

The 19-year-old from Charlton played at left-back in the absence of the suspended Danny Cullip with Kerry Mayo moving into central defence.

Manager Kevin Keehan otherwise kept faith with the side which produced a spirited display to draw 1-1 at Histon in midweek.

There was one change on the bench where Steve Elliott replaced Tom Graves.

Justin Gregory was not in the 16 but joined the players for the pre-match warm-up.
