Winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has joined Burnley from Tottenham on a loan for the remainder of the campaign.

The 22-year-old is yet to make a Premier League start under Mauricio Pochettino this term and Spurs see a move to Turf Moor as beneficial for him to gain first-team experience.

Nkoudou, who could make his debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday, told Clarets Player HD: “I think it’s a big opportunity to play my first minutes this season in the Premier League.

“Everyone is shocked because Burnley is just after the big six. They have played very well. I watched the last game against Liverpool when they played very well and were unlucky. That’s why I have come here, to find football.”

Austrian right-back Moritz Bauer has completed a transfer to managerless Stoke on a four-and-a-half-year deal having been a target of recently-axed boss Mark Hughes.

The Potters have made Bauer, 25, their first signing of the window for an undisclosed fee after reaching an agreement with Russian club Rubin Kazan.

Meanwhile, Wolves midfielder Jack Price has agreed a four-year deal to join Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids. Wanderers will receive an undisclosed fee for the 25-year-old, who has been with the club since the age of seven.

Price made 115 appearances for Wolves during his time at Molineux and played a key role in Wolves’ League One title-winning team during the 2013/14 season as Kenny Jackett’s side amassed a record-breaking points total.

Arsene Wenger is yet to decide whether Alexis Sanchez will face Chelsea in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup semi-final first leg amid speculation the forward could join Manchester City this month.

The Arsenal manager insisted no club has yet made contact over Sanchez but, asked if he expects the Chilean to stay, Wenger said: “I expect nothing.”

Another player who could leave is Francis Coquelin. Wenger admitted “it is a possibility” the midfielder could be let go but said reports suggesting a deal is agreed with West Ham are wide of the mark.

Wenger also remained tight-lipped on rumoured interest in Jonny Evans but conceded, if it came down to it, Arsenal would lose a financial fight with City over the Baggies defender.

Huddersfield have made another bid for Norwich midfielder Alex Pritchard, a significantly-improved offer after one of £5million was rejected – Press Association Sport understands.

Terriers boss David Wagner confirmed he was interested in Pritchard but said he would not be held to ransom.

“Pritchard is not my player, he is a Norwich player,” he told the Huddersfield Examiner. “I like him, but I have my doubts if he will play for us because I know how expensive British players are in this window.”
