England defender Nico O’Reilly has returned to Manchester City and will not feature in the remainder of the international camp due to injury.
O’Reilly played 90 minutes in last Saturday’s Nations League opener against Spain, making a mistake in the build-up to the visitors’ equaliser, but missed Tuesday’s win in Czechia after picking up an issue in training.
With England set to play their third game against Croatia on Saturday, the left-back has returned to his club for “further assessment”.
The Football Association confirmed there will be no call-ups to the squad for the game in Rijeka or next Tuesday’s clash with Czechia at Wembley.

A Football Association statement read: “Nico O’Reilly has returned to Manchester City and will play no part in the forthcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
“No further replacements are planned as the Three Lions prepare to face Croatia in Rijeka on Saturday before returning to Wembley to take on Czechia on Tuesday.”
O’Reilly’s absence looks to give Lewis Hall another chance to impress at left-back.
The Newcastle defender played 90 minutes in Prague on Tuesday and looks set to get the shirt again in Saturday’s behind-closed-doors game.
