CRAWLEY fighter Ben Jones won the vacant WBO super-featherweight title with a 12-round points win over Kris Hughes at the K2.
Scotsman Hughes proved a tough and resilient opponent as he went the distance but all three judges gave the victory to Jones by a landslide margin in the top-of-the-bill clash.
Jones, 30, adds the title to the IBO International lightweight belt he holds.
In the main support, Mile Oak middleweight Nicky Jenman was stopped in round seven by Bolton's Chris Jenkinson as his bid to win the vacant International Masters belt ended in disappointment.
