Lewes boss Steven King is hoping for a change of luck as he bids to end the worst run of his managerial career.

The Rooks conceded a 92nd minute goal to lose 1-0 to Yeading on Saturday, making it just one win in their last 11 league games.

Six draws in that sequence have kept them above mid-table but King knows they should be winning games.

He said: "Again we were all over Yeading but we just couldn't score.

"We are creating lots of chances in front of goal but we are not getting any breaks. We just need one to ricochet in off someone's leg to get us going again.

"The fans are being really good and telling me it will come right but I don't like losing games."

Rooks gave a debut to new striker Craig O'Connor, signed on Friday following his release by Cambridge City.

The only goal came in stoppage time when Lewes, pushing for a winner, were caught out by a breakaway goal from Marvin Morgan.

Lewes: Williams; Elliott, Simpemba, Robinson, McEntegart; Drury (sub Sharpling), Holloway, Wormull, Storey (sub Kadi); Booth, OConnor. Subs not used: Sigere, Hewitt.

BOGNOR will be without Scott Chamberlain and Chris Breach when they take on Eastbourne Borough in the quarter-finals of the Sussex Senior Cup at Nyewood Lane tomorrow night.

The former Albion pair miss the game because they are cup-tied.

Rocks boss Jack Pearce hopes his side can bounce back after suffering a 2-1 defeat at Salisbury where Robbie Matthews bagged the winner in the fourth minute of injury time in front of a crowd of 1,221.

Ben Watson hit a 77th-minute equaliser for Rocks after in-form Salisbury had gone in front through Aaron Cook.

Pearce said: "Their winner was a psychological hammer blow after clawing our way back and dominating the final 20 minutes. Craig Stoner was at fault for it but did well generally."

Bognor: Stoner, Piper, Walllis-Taylor, Tuck, Chamberlain (sub Beck), Balfe, Breach, Watson, Birmingham (sub Budd), Nightingale, Johnson (Hudson). Subs not used: Howell, Rowland.
