Former champion Caroline Wozniacki is heading back to Eastbourne for the Aegon International.

The world No.5 will join four other former champions on the grass courts at Devonshire Park.

Six of the world’s top ten ranked players and 14 of the world’s top 20 will compete for the coveted trophy.

Wozniacki, Madison Keys, Ekaterina Makarova, Agnieszka Radwańska and Svetlana Kuznetsova are back looking to get their hands on the trophy once more while two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova is looking for her first title.

Danish star Wozniacki first entered the tournament in 2008 and returned 12 months later to lift the title with a 7–6(5), 7–5 win over Virginie Razzano.

The former world No.1 is also a two-time US Open finalist who has not finished outside the world’s top 10 ranked singles players since 2008.

David Macmillan, chief marketing officer at Aegon, said: “We are delighted that Caroline is returning to the Aegon International Eastbourne this summer. She has a fantastic track record at Devonshire Park and we can’t wait to see her on court again."

In the week before The Championships, Wimbledon, British No.1 Heather Watson, US Open winner Sam Stosur and former Wimbledon finalists Eugenie Bouchard and Radwańska will also be on display.

The Aegon International will take place the week before Wimbledon from June 20-27 2015.

It forms part of the new British grasscourt season, which will see a three week window between Roland Garros and Wimbledon for the first time.
