Nicki Pedersen bounced back with another maximum as Eastbourne Eagles grabbed an Elite League bonus point tonight.

Pedersen won six out of six as Eagles beat Belle Vue 62-29 at Arlington.

The Dane missed last night's mauling at Oxford with stomach cramps but a series of fast starts meant he was never really tested by the Aces.

Edward Kennett, guesting for Dean Barker, was unbeaten by an opponent until heat 15 and finished with 14+2 (6).

Davey Watt scored 12+2 (5) on his Arlington comeback, his lone defeat coming in heat 11 when Simon Stead notched outclassed Belle Vue's only race win of the night.

Stefan Andersson overcame a last place in heat one to go 7+2 (4) and Cameron Woodward added ten paid points.

Stead had 10 (5) but it was all about the Eagles as they warmed up for their tough trip to Reading on Monday.

Team manager Trevor Geer said: "After last night's defeat it was very important to have a good win just to restore confidence within the team and the promotion.

"It was so disheartening last night but we're glad to put that behind us."

Pedersen looked cheerful bit a little cold and weary after the meeting.

He expects to be fully fit to ride for Rzeszow tomorrow and Eastbourne on Monday.
