Nicki Pedersen will undergo tests in Denmark in a bid to solve the medical problems which dogged his tough weekend.

Pedersen was perfect again, winning six out of six as Eastbourne Eagles outclassed Belle Vue 62-29 at Arlington on Saturday.

Edward Kennett and Davey Watt were pipped just once apiece by Aces' No. 1 Simon Stead and Stefan Andersson was unbeaten in his last three races as Eagles banked a handy Elite League bonus point.

But Pedersen admitted he is still puzzled by the stomach cramps which ruled him out of Friday's trip to Oxford, which ended in a 25-point thrashing for Eastbourne.

His superb starts meant he was never tested by Belle Vue.

But he wants a thorough examination once his hectic weekend of racing, which includes Eagles trip to Reading tonight (7pm), is out of the way.

He said: "I felt sorry I let the team down on Friday but I just couldn't get off the bed.

"I wasn't sure about Saturday either. I didn't feel good all the way down.

"As the meeting went on though I was loosening up, I was getting into it, the bike was going well and I battled through it.

"It's the worst thing I ever had. You can't breathe, you can't think, you can't lie down or sit up or anything.

"You t don't know what to do. You just feel like you're going to go to hospital.

"I've been to the doctor twice and they don't know what it is.

"I haven't been to hospital but on Wednesday I'm going to go to a Danish doctor and get a blood test.

"This is not just a normal human being. This is racing and I've got to be fit.

"If it comes on during a meeting there's nothing I can do."

While Pedersen cruised around, some of his team-mates were involved in terrific action as they limited Belle Vue to a single race win, by Stead in heat 11.

Two of Kennett's duels with Joe Screen were memorable. Riding right on the white line, Kennett held off the ex-Eagle to complete a heat-three 5-1 with Pedersen, then came through to pip him to the flag in heat 12.

Watt, back in Arlington action for the first time in five weeks, was highly impressive, capping his night with a paid win when he roared spectacularly inside Screen on the back straight on lap four of heat 13.

Stefan Andersson's thrilling pass of Adam Skornicki tight to the fence to win heat eight was overshadowed by a confrontation between Lewis Bridger and Ryan Fisher later in the race.

Fisher was forced into the fence and then confronted Bridger, who swung a right hand at his opponent's head.

The incident was over with quickly and referee Barbara Horley confirmed she would take no further action once Bridger had been excluded.

It was not the teenager's night, though he came from fourth to second to clinch a heat-two 5-1 with Cameron Woodward, who had two wins and looked lively.

Yes, Belle Vue were fairly weak, but the manner in which Eagles took them apart was both reassuring and timely.

Just 24 hours after the mauling at Oxford, Eagles claimed their first 60-point haul since last June.

They had seven 5-1s and that would have been eight had Andersson not lost control in heavy dirt on bend four in heat one.

Team manager Trevor Geer said: "A lot of Stefan's trouble is confidence. It really came back and he reeled off three good paid wins after a bad first race. It was really good stuff."

Kennett is ineligible to ride at Reading tonight having appeared at the same track for Poole on Friday so Kevin Doolan comes in as guest replacement for Dean Barker.
