Karolina Pliskova went one better at Eastbourne today to claim the Aegon International women's title.
The tall Czech world No.3 was beaten in the final last year by Dominika Cibulkova.
She made no mistake this time, desptaching Danish world No.6 Caroline Wozniacki 6-4, 6-4 in 81 minutes.
The big-serving Czech delivered ten aces and had too much power for Wozniacki, the champion in 2009.
Her third title of the year earns her a prize of £106,000, while Wozniacki pockets £56,000 as the runner-up.
