Tommy Elphick is on course for a quick return to the Albion defence at Leyton Orient tomorrow.
The young centre half has recovered from a groin injury sustained in last Saturday's FA Cup draw at Cheltenham.
It kept Elphick out of Wednesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory over the same opponents at Withdean.
He was training with the rest of the squad this afternoon in preparation for tomorrow's Sky televised clash at Brisbane Road (12.30pm).
Elphick will partner Joel Lynch or Guy Butters, with Adam El-Abd switching to rightback to cover for the suspended Andrew Whing.
