Albion boss Dean Wilkins is bracing himself for the biggest test yet of his team's promotion credentials.

The Seagulls launch a run of five League One games against sides in the top ten in front of the Sky cameras against Leyton Orient at Brisbane Road tomorrow (Saturday, 12.30pm).

A challenging programme of fixtures also includes visits from Carlisle and Nottingham Forest for the sixth-placed Seagulls.

Wilkins said: "I don't know whether you would call it season defining but it will certainly go a long way towards us recognising where we could possibly be at the end of the season.

"This is the toughest run of games now we have faced. No disrespect to the other sides we have played but the League table says that.

"It is a really big test and a test during which we will need everybody playing at the top of their game to produce the results we really want."

Albion hammered Orient 4-1 both at home and away last season but Wilkins warned: "I think it counts for absolutely nothing.

"It's a new season, it's completely different. They are a different outfit and we are playing more consistently.

"They have showed a slight vulnerability at times, where they have conceded heavily. I am sure Martin Ling will be trying to make sure that never happens again but it is certainly something that can give us encouragement and hopefully an opportunity to exploit."

What do you think would be an acceptable points return from Albion's next five games?
