Worthing boss Danny Bloor is delighted by the return of Mark Pulling to Woodside Road.

Pulling, 27, impressed as Rebels maintained their play-off push with a 3-1 home win against Whitstable Town. The midfielder re-joined from Burgess Hill on Friday.

Bloor said: "He showed plenty of endeavour on the right side of midfield and was good at dead-ball kicks. Mark did himself a lot of favours against Whitstable."

Rebels were one down at the interval to a Marcus Perona goal before a Matt Phelan cross forced visiting defender Steve Lloyd to put through his own goal.

Ben Andrews and youth player Terry Dodd, 18, scored in the last two minutes to ensure Worthing victory.

Bloor said: "We were losing against the run of play but, although we left it late, I was reasonably pleased with the performance. I'm delighted for Terry. It was his first goal for the first team."
