Saltdean United notched their sixth straight win in all competitions as they came from behind to beat Forest 2-1 in County League division three.

Top scorer Scott Brady cancelled out Damon Aston's first-half opener for the hosts, then Matt Fleming hit the winner just past the hour mark.

The Tigers remain ninth in the table but they are now only six points off second place with a game in hand.

The top two - Loxwood and Dorking Wanderers - fought out a goalless draw.

Louis Wright scored a hat-trick as Haywards Heath won 6-3 away to Ifield Edwards. Lee Skinner and Simon McMenemy were also on target while Stewart Small (two) and Clive Piller replied for Ifield, who have confirmed caretaker Ray Guntley as manager in succession to the late Russell Penticost.

Uckfield Town moved off the bottom after beating Rottingdean Village 2-0 with goals from Joe Miller and Marcus Strevens.

Ryan Walton scored twice as Newhaven came from behind to win 4-1 at home to Hurstpierpoint, who are now bottom. Chris Schaapveld and Stephen Grabowski also scored after Naim Rouane had put Hurst ahead.

In the Hastings Intermediate Cup, Little Common trounced Bodiam 10-1 with Lewis Hole scoring five. Jordan Wood added a brace with Chas Lister, Jared Lusted and Dan Collins getting the others.

Bexhill United went through 6-2 away to Hastings Rangers thanks to goals from Dave Harris (two), Will Dunstall, Freeman, Warren Parsons and player-boss Paul Tuppenney.
