Worthing coach Ian Davies today welcomed an exciting home cup draw for his team.

The Raiders will host National Three outfit Rosslyn Park in the third round of the EDF National Trophy on Saturday, December 8.

Park are one of the most famous names in English rugby, their reputation dating back to the glory days of Andy Ripley in the Seventies.

Raiders coach Davies said: "I'm glad it's a home tie. The draws have been falling kindly for us in that respect.

"How we approach it might depend on what we do at Richmond the week before but I'm sure we will go into the game believing we can win."

Haywards Heath, playing in the EDF Intermediate Cup, also have an attractive draw.

In-form Heath will host Old Dunstablians, the team who knocked them out at the quarter-final stage last season, in the third round.

The draw for the fifth round of the EDF Junior Vase has provided two Sussex v Hampshire tussles.

Crawley go to Alton while while Burgess Hill host Eastleigh.

All ties take place on December 8.
