Boss Steve Norris saw East Grinstead maintain their 100 per cent record and then warned the rest of division two that his side are not yet at full strength.

Rustington suffered a second successive 1-0 defeat after an Alex White header seven minutes from time sealed victory for Steyning.

Westfield thrashed rock-bottom Pease Pottage 8-1 but only after the basement side had their goalkeeper sent off. Pottage went ahead early on through Richard Watts and appeared in with a chance of picking up their first points of the season until just before the break.

Crawley Down bounced back from their FA Vase exit with an emphatic 5-0 victory at Midhurst. An own goal, James Upton and Gareth Neathey killed the home side off by half-time, before Neathey netted two more in four second half minutes to complete his hat-trick.
