Crowborough opened up a three-point lead at the top of County League division one with a 1-0 win at home to bottom side Sidley United.
Wayne Clarke scored the only goal on the hour mark to give Crows victory in front of a crowd of 107, As well as being three points clear they also have three games in hand on closest challengers Whitehawk.
In division two, Lancing moved out of the bottom two with a 3-2 win at home to Broadbridge Heath thanks to goals from Adam Burton, Rob Partridge and Dan Griffin. Harwood and Saunders replied for the visitors.
