Graham Martin scored a first-half opener and Hassan Nyang added two after the break as Sussex won 3-0 against The Army at Aldershot in the Southern Counties Cup tonight.
Boss Sammy Donnelly admitted the county had to work hard for the win but added: "It was a tremendous team performance and the football was breathtaking at times."
Sussex are now two wins from taking the title. They face the AFA at Corinthian Casuals and then host Middlesex at Worthing.
