Horsham boss John Maggs believes his patched-up side can complete an unlikely double at leaders Chelmsford City tomorrow.
The Hornets, who overcame City 2-1 at Queen Street, are in the middle of an injury crisis.
Nigel Brake (knee), Lee Carney (ankle) Ian Payne (leg) and Jacob Mingle (hamstring) are all out. Gary Charman (back) is a doubt while midfielder Lewis Taylor and defender Eddie French are suspended.
Horsham have produced a series of victories with weakened line-ups in recent weeks.
They leapfrogged play-off rivals Hornchurch into joint third thanks to a 2-1 triumph in Essex on Tuesday.
It meant they have won seven, drawn three and lost two of their last 12 fixtures.
Maggs said: "That's not a bad record and a lot of our results have been against the top teams despite all our crocks.
"We completed the double over Hornchurch so perhaps we can do the same to Chelmsford.
"We've shown a great spirit to roll our sleeves up to get results against the odds. We're in the mix with games in hand."
Maggs feels winger Stefan Cox, 19, who made his debut on loan from Lewes at Hornchurch, can make a big difference.
He said: "Stefan showed a lot of pace and troubled defenders. Hopefully he can be even better against Chelmsford.
"The last player we had on loan from Lewes was Jean Michel Sigere and he did well. I think Stefan can be a hit too."
Maggs last night hoped to complete the signing of Woking's Dean Lovegrove on a month's loan.
