Anthony Young's bid to win the vacant British Masters middleweight title failed on Saturday night when he was outpointed by Barnsley's Lee Noble.
Crawley fighter Young, fighting in front of his home crowd at the K2 Leisure Centre, lost 97-95 after a enthralling ten-round contest.
Crawley's Ben Jones stopped Telford's Shaun Walton in the fourth round after an accomplished display but Robin Deakin, also from Crawley, lost on points to Walsall's Steve Gethin in a tight encounter.
