Bognor striker Luke Nightingale could soon be back to help their relegation fight There were fears the former Portsmouth striker could miss the rest of the season with a shoulder problem.
Coach Darin Killpartrick said: "Luke's fractured shoulder is on the mend. There was talk of an operation but he could be back in three weeks."
Struggling Rocks missed the chance to record their first back-to-back wins in 16 months after a 2-1 home defeat against Maidenhead.
Carl Wilson-Denis and Dominic Sterling put the visitors two-up before a Scott Chamberlain free-kick reduced the arrears.
Killpartrick said: "We have to start faster if we want to stay in this league.
"Scott's free-kick would have graced any ground in the country."
Bognor: Stoner, Pearson, Jupp, Breach, Ray, Knee, Wallis-Taylor, Chamberlain, Balfe (sub Greatwich), Beck, Haddow. Unused substitutes: Harris, Arojogun, Killpatrick
