Loxwood produced a superb display to win the top of the table clash in County League division three.
Nick Branch, Perry Monks and Chris Osborne got the goals as the leaders won 3-0 away to Haywards Heath.
Despite the defeat, Heath remain in a good position to claim the second promotion spot after two of their main rivals lost.
Newhaven went down 2-0 at home to Rottingdean Village, for whom Casey Marlow (penalty) and Jamie Watts found the net.
Dorking Wanderers fell apart in the second half to lost 7-0 away to Bexhill. After a goalless first half, Will Dunstall (three), Dave Harris (two), Peter Heritage and Mark Funnell found the net for buoyant Bexhill.
Three Dorking players were among four four men sent off in the game at Newhaven the previous week and the same referee, Adrian Hudson, produced another two red cards as Forest beat Saltdean 2-1. Nick Duggan and Damon Asten netted to move Forest off the bottom while Terry Haworth replied for the Tigers.
Chris Hughes and Reece Neupert were the scorers as Ifield Edwards won 2-1 away to Bosham, who replied through Michael Flynn replied.
