Striker Steve Harper has signed a two-year contract at Ryman League division one south Burgess Hill.
Harper scored 23 goals for the Hillians last season after being brought back to the club for a second spell by manager Gary Croydon before he handed over the reins to Jamie Howell.
Howell said: "We're absolutely delighted to have got Steve and it is a real coup for the club.
"He had offers from other clubs but he can see what we are trying to build for the future."
