Eastbourne Borough have signed Jean-Michel Sigere and Simon Wormull from rivals Lewes and released long-serving striker Scott Ramsay.

Former France under-21 international Sigere and ex-Albion midfielder Wormull left the Rooks last month following the sacking of boss Steven King.

Manager Garry Wilson said: "The two new boys have both played at Conference level before and will bring a lot of experience to the team. We think they will be very good signings for us."

Former Albion frontman Ramsay turned down the offer of a new contract to end his six-year spell at Borough.

Wilson said: "We offered Scott a new deal but we could not agree terms. The problem was not financial, it was about the length of the deal."
