Broadwater picked up maximum points against neighbours Worthing Chippingdale to go top of Invitation League division one.

The new leaders set a target of 221-8 after Graham Waller made 64 and Joe Owen 60, while Tim Hall took 4-51.

Chipps were dismissed for 160 as James Iago weighed in with 5-33, which included a second spell of 4-11.

Jerry White was the top scorer for Chipps with 53.

Rashid took 7-35 for Crawley Eagles but the match against East Preston finished as a draw.

Eagles needed two wickets for victory from the final over but only managed one and EP finished on 152-9 in reply to 191.

Colin Smith made 42 for EP, while Ali (67) and Fallah (50) impressed with the bat for Eagles.

Paul Glover and Dave Wainwright both hit 41 to help Portslade chalk up 185-9 in a 92-run victory over rivals Southwick.

Adam Davis hit the highest score in the top division this season to help Selsey to only their second victory of the summer against Wisborough Green. He cracked 117 in a total of 198, then took 4-46 to leave Green 154 all out. Pete Horner also did well with the ball for Selsey with 4-44.

Ram fell one run short of victory against Horsham Trinity.

Steve Cox (91 not out) and Michael White (70) helped the visitors to 229-5 and Ram finished on the same score with two wickets to spare following a run-out from the last ball of the game.

Nick Wright crashed 155, the third highest score in division two history, to give Scaynes Hill victory over Aldwick.

His knock came in an outstanding opening stand of 275 with George Parker (104 not out) which helped Hill amass 285-1.

Aldwick took up the chase but fell 58 runs short after Joel Lodge and Keelan Belcher both made 41.

Chris Cook scored 103 as leaders Eastergate made 233-9 in a draw against St Andrews.

Saints replied with 170-6 with Stuart Murray scoring 80 not out.

Barns Green beat Rustington by nine wickets a week after recording their first victory for two years.

Danny Conway took 4-25 to help dismiss Rustington for 116, before Mark Tidey (50 not out) and Martin Hennock (49 not out) guided Green past the winning post.

James Peake claimed 7-48 for Storrington in a draw at Southwater.

Johann Brouwer hit 81 as the home side made 187 and Storrington fell just six runs short following good knocks from Russell Harding (52 not out) and Dan Pickard (48).

Broadbridge Heath clung on for a draw at West Chiltington thanks to a stubborn stand from Dan McDonald (41 not out). Heath finished on 134-9, with Stephen Hodgson taking 4-15, after Chilts set a target of 191.

Brian Chambers top scored for the hosts with 51 and Dan Smith (5-35) was the pick of the Heath attack.
