Eastbourne Town boss Ady Colwell has recalled highly-rated teenager Callum Holles from Hailsham to help solve an injury crisis.

Town are missing seven players for tomorrow’s trip to Whyteleafe so Holles, 17, who has scored four goals for Hailsham this season, comes into the squad.

Steve Dallaway, who has been scoring regularly for the reserves after recovering from a long-term hip injury, has also been called in along with Lewes reserve player John Fitzpatrick, who has been signed on dual-registration forms.

Forward Jamie Salvidge heads the injury list after suffering knee ligament damage in Wednesday’s 1-0 win against Chipstead which will rule him out for six weeks.

Luke Denton needed 12 stitches in a head wound suffered in that game while Peter Featherstone (thigh), Danny Williams (thigh) and Ethan Strevitt (abductor mucle) are also ruled out tomorrow. In addition, Gary Brockwell and Chris Dicker are out due to work commitments.
