Kevin Keehan was a happy man after Lewes made it three wins in four games with a 2-1 FA Trophy triumph at Team Bath.
Goals from Danny Cullip and Michael Standing helped the Rooks come from behind to clinch a place in the second round.
This victory followed wins against Salisbury and Grays in their last three league matches.
Manager Keehan said: "We are learning as a team, I am learning as a manager and winning becomes a good habit.
"They (Team Bath) have got that winning habit and you could see they are confident and doing the right things early. We are building on our confidence.
"I am really pleased because they are a good side, very organised, very workmanlike. We got caught cold from a short corner which was disappointing but after that we did well.
"In the second half, without creating a lot of chances, we had a lot more of the possession."
He added: "In the circumstances the prize money (£5,000) is important. Hopefully we can get a home draw in the next round and get a good crowd along."
